Environmental waste management company ACM Environmental PLC has recently announced that Oak Tree Mobility is winner of the Greener Path Award for Zero Waste to Landfill.
In association with the British Council for Sustainable Development, the Greener Path awards were created to celebrate the great work businesses across the UK are doing in reducing the impact they have on the environment. Organisations that demonstrate exemplary effort and achievement in minimising waste, boosting recycling and increasing landfill diversion while seeking out innovative and sustainable ways to handle waste streams are potential candidates.
Oak Tree Mobility proved a dedication to divert waste from landfill in 2015 and have demonstrated clear further commitment towards to the goal of zero landfill.
Andy Jacobs, chief executive of ACM Environmental, said, “We are delighted that Oak Tree Mobility is a recipient of the Zero Waste to Landfill Award. We have worked in partnership with them to help implement an environmentally sound waste management strategy and to see them achieve such impressive landfill diversion results is extremely gratifying.”
Meanwhile, Ricky Towler, managing director of Oak Tree Mobility, said,
“We are committed to doing what we can for the environment, and we are very pleased to have been recognised for all the hard work we’ve put into keeping Oak Tree mobility green.”
Oak Tree Mobility remains committed to being an environmentally friendly company, and recognition from ACM Environmental reaffirms they are on the right track.
